Yig Zern became a Christian in 1990. Armed with a degree in Computer Science and lecturing experience in Temasek Polytechnic, Yig Zern leads the church's Singapore Administration and passionately serves in the Building Support, Information Technology and Multimedia departments of the church. His wife, Janice, is the church's Accounts and Human Resource Manager.
